Now if your still reading. Just find the wiggles, and tape em. Also try all your machine settings backwards and forward and try to trip it up. You will be surprised what you gain when you loose somethings.

I'm sorry.  What did you mean by this?

I have a Minelab Safari and really like it. Very easy to use and a quality machine. I also have a BH Pioneer 505 which is cool for a second detector but not anywhere near as cool as the Safari. I'd like to try out an E-trac but for now he Safari is all I could afford and I'm happy with it. My next will be a good Gold detector. Not sure which one to buy yet though. Gotta do some research.  Detecting

G day FP theres a little secrete if you like to iD you targets the stay with what you've got, I know the E-TRAC is the singing all danceing but the meter makes it very hard to id what you've found, If your use to the single set of numbers
the etrac uses 2 set and most targets come up with simular set of numbers and even though you can disc things out
you can't id by numbers. all the pros i talked to kept telling me to ignor the meter , so i ask whats the use of a meter
if you can't use it , just my thoughts because you by a machine with a meter because you like to use a meter.
The ETRAC is a great machine but that screen don't work in the real world

The goldmaxx power is a good machine on iron infested sites but don't buy one if you want a machine for the beach.
