Now we know that the US was/is very interested in the H3tec and other LRL for bomb detecting which tells me that they did lots of research into them finding them useless at this time.

Just a rational observation here...but, the US was never interested in the H3 Tec device.

As it turns out, H3 Tec was fraudulently advertising on their website that the US Military was testing and using their product. H3 Tec has since pulled their false advertisement in this regards off their website.

This is simply another case of fraudulent actives by those who prey upon the electronically illiterate and pseudoscience gullible

Ridge Runner. About the cave. The treasure hunter that was operating the H3 said he thought the gold that the H3 was indicating was in a vein rather than The Spanish gold he was looking for.

B.A. , Same thing. My Dad was a pretty smart guy, He grew up in the Edison age built the first TV in Birmingham and kept up with electronic technology till his death. In the 1950's Dick Tracy 's wrist radio was all the rage in the comic strip. If you are as old as I you will remember it was pretty big. I asked Dad if there would ever be a radio that small and he, the vaccum tube Engineer,  scoffed at the idea. 20 years later he was retired and tinkering around with transistors building radios that fit into ball pens. happily, some old dogs can learn new tricks.

When I went up against the H3, I was not using any filtering or discrimination. This meant I was locking hot minerals, micro gold, iron with electrolysis, The standard --what the he-- targets we have all dug. The H3 did the same.

This can be done with a meter like an installable volt meter with a loose swinging needle. You see them on the front of consoles. Hook one of the leads to a piece of gold, the other to a small antenna and pass it in front of another piece of gold. Of course if hardened steel with electrolysis is close, it will hit also.

Does not cost 10,000 bucks.

And this is guaranteed not to bust, rust, or collect dust.  And it's ruff on rats too.

Let's watch talking about them grid plate vac tubes. I was pissed when we went to i/c's, cause you couldn't see which one wasn't lit up.

Seldom, I basically agree with all that you wrote in reply #44, except for "LRL's are based on dowsing which is based on pseudoscience and the metaphysical world.".

The LRL's of today rely on humans psychic ability not on science thats the point I was making and until a machine is made that is useable by the masses and not just by a few with some psychic ability it will be considered  pseudoscience.
And yes the US was and still is interested in some type of LRL some folks need to do some first hand research and stop quoting word for word naysayer sites.
Do I believe in the LRL's being sold today. NO!!! But I do believe that in the future some type of working LRL will be developed along the lines of  GPR are with the use of microwaves or some other technology not yet developed. It will not rely on human psychic.
