Needless to say, I guess I will never find a scientific explanation for all the other paranormal stuff.

The definition of the word itself should explain why to you.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I am a new member and one that has encountered what I firmly believe was a ghost. I can tell you from personal experience, once one has had that kind of experience, one's outlook  on Everything ,takes on a whole new meaning. I am an electronics technician and Was rather doubtful about ghosts, until it happened to me and my son who is an airline Captain.I can definately tell everyone, that these things of which we do not know, or playfully disregard, are things to be reckoned with. I did not have this experience while Treasure hunting, but would look forward to another encounter, should it ever happen again.

shortribs and freflite! So right, no telling what you will run into on Real Treasure Sites! You will see, hear, and feel things you won't believe at first, but think about them long enough, and you come to the conclusion that there ARE other worlds, realities, dimensions!  The Bible even talks of them, " the seen and the unseen " plus the battle against Pricipalities! td

ghosts and treasure sites go back to ancient times. my greatgrand father hunted for treasure with his sons, he and many of his buddies spoke of haints that haunted buried treasure. one instance in particular comes to mind.  they had a method that they used to dress the site before digging. they would draw a circle in the ground around the site and place a seal from the sixth and seventh books of moses in the center. in this instances they had finished dressing the site when the first spadfull of earth was moved, they heard the sound of a bull rushing at full speed from the distant woods towards the site. they all attested to the phenomena they could feel the pounding of the hooves on the earth beneath their feet. as it approached the circle it stoped and snorted. all the while pounding the earth as it moved around the circl seeking entrance. the story goes that the closer they came to the cache the farther it seemed to sink into the earth while the sound of the angry bull diminished. they eventually did recover it and were able to leave the circle. of course by that time the sounds and vibrations had ceased. but i remember my uncle saying that bigdad did say some sort of prayer before stepping out of the circle. sadly that prayer wasnt passed on.... lol!   Smiley Wink

Read your story a few days ago. There are a million grubs in a lawn. after digging (detecting) for 41 yrs I've dug my share. Too bad we in america don't eat them as would have a meat supply.
