I guess if you have never witnessed ghost around you then maybe you really don't understand it. I'm not supersticious but the ghost were real and untill you witness one around you maybe the understanding isn't their,When you smell one around you then the circumstances change.(smells like burnt matches). Trying to dig out a cache and in 100 degree weather and then having a cold wind blow on your face and smell ghost makes you think again.jmho.

shortribs!

I know what you are talking about, I have had experiences on certain sites, where words have been whispered in my ear and have been shown the set-up looking way different. I have drawn it the way I saw it, when I got home, and on returning to the site it is completely different! I have been told by real treasure hunters that I was probably standing in a Portal, when I felt these things. These spirits will follow you home, if they want to help you find and extract the treasure!
If you haven't had these types of happenings on your sites by now, then you should probably stick to coinshooting, I don't think the guardians want to expose themselves to non-believers and scoffers!  Keep Tracking shortribs, and Be Safe!  td

Ghosts haunt certain places.. Gettysburg was my only real experience. I encountered a full confederate soldier in a reflection in a glass case. Turning around it was not there yet I knew he was. My hair stood up on the back of my neck and a a cold wave went through me head to foot.

It was not trying to scare me, but was curious as to why I took such interest in it all there that day. I remember saying a prayer for him and walking straight out of the museum.  It was real and it was unnerving.

Yet, unless you are taking something of theirs from a location, I do not feel that fear is warranted, only the ill at ease that comes with the unknown...

 Undecided

edjcox!

You are very right Bro, they do haunt places. I had an Indian come to me in a dream, and I was sitting on the same rock I had sat on the day before on a site, and he started pointing down with his hand and the dream got dark,, I figured he was telling me, that the treasure was straight down below and it was in a dark place. Some spirits help and some I believe will try to impede your progress, maybe they suffered some on the site and they figure, whatevers there belongs to them!
I saw one when I was about 15 years old, but since then I have only seen them in dreams. Thanks for your insight!  Peace! td

Go Up Go Down

Hello,I live in northern California and have a similar story I was digging test holes for a geologist at a site were they wanted to put  a reservoir in this area there was a large Indian settlementand there as far as you could see obsidian chips and broken arrow heads litter the ground. At lunch I wandered around picking up and looking for intact arrow heads around a large rock I knelt down to pick up a piece I saw on the ground and heard a noise above me when I looked up at top the rock was clear as day a medicine man with a tribalmask on and looked mad as hell needless to say it caught me off guard and dropped the piece I glanced away not more than a second and looked back it was gone I left every bit of things I found that day and did no further searching Shocked for all you folks out there many of my friends are Indian they say if the medicine man comes best not to bother things he will protect his belongings leave it lay!

Why? You may not Photoshop but clearly somebody has.
