Hello Everyone . I got a few e-mails with questions on Tesoro searchcoil wire connections . A requirement is you must have an ohmeter !!! It will make hooking up any searchcoil easy .
On a tesoro 7.5 inch widescan the two wires that read around 19.5 ohms is for the transmit coil and the 29 ohms is the recieve coil . If you have a 100% perfect working searchcoil from tesoro , then finishing your Metal Detector circuit board will be faster and correct . Then build another home made searchcoil later if you want .
HH........ Great.....Eugene

Hello David and Everyone . I wish someone would post a big clear color photo of this Mysterious Stripboard you are using to build your Bandido . If not , I will try to find a photo on the internet .
Best Regards........Eugene

Eugene52, I presume you know what a stripboard is. If not, it's a generic PC board with holes at the proper spacing that is used for point to point wiring of a circuit. Nothing more. Why anyone would be concerned or motivated to endless discussion about the layout on the board is a real mystery to me. The layout is just a personal choice. Such is life.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello GD . I am just a little concerned because they seem to be having some slight problems building the Tesoro Bandido circuit , which should go much smoother . That is why I asked to see the Photo of the strip board they are using . It would be nice for them to be outside using the Bandido before Winter arrives !!
I just want everything to go very smooth for all the project builders on this Forum .
HH...... Great.....Eugene
