Edouard, The best way to work out which way around the components fit, is to refer to the circuit schematic and compare that to the circuit layout.

D7 a&b  the ..a.. fits one way and the ..b.. fits the other way around, it the same with D8 a&b.

You will notice I have posted some of the photos of my project. I am using a ..coil cover.. to make my coils and I have attached brackets to the top of it, when I have finished I will use resin and filler powder to make the coils waterproof. The front panel is only temporary for now.

On the back of the Stripboard you can see the decoupling capacitors, they are wired as I explained in an earlier post. The top view shows the component as I have laid them out.

Happy building Mike.

Edouard the bare leads of your large capacitors need to be insulated with some  ...sleeving... if you strip some wire and use the covering of the wire as sleeving to prevent the leads from touching anything else.

Ok Mike.

Hi David,
You say that you have the ..Stripboard.. and are ready to start building your layout, have you had any experience building ..Stripboard circuits before.

Regards Mike.
