To all,
This is as per i surf in history, there are place that japs dig deeper to bury the gold they looted during W II, and also there are place that is very swallow, as I read the Golden Buddha it was very deep tunnel, near by Baguio Hospital.
My idea is this, since during W II the Americans are patrolling the sea area, the Japs buried all the gold because they cannot take it out in the phils.so if they need to hide it and those area that they had a lot of man power it is deeper, and other area are swallow. Further more you know looter to looter?, they also hide their own golds because they think they can come back for it when war is over so some people are very lucky to find it easily.
My advice is you must buy a better detector and proper information with correct reference or do the old way theory of detection a three rod techniques and measure the voltage.

Research is the first step before you proceed on the treasure area,,treasure hunting in the philippines is too tricky and detecting itself cannot guarantee a positive result...concentration of minerals in that country sometimes giving a malignant result, there may not be a trouble or fault with the detector itself but the ground which is full of minerals.....digging without proper study is expensive, it will empty your pocket for nothing....

Cornelius in these world there will always be bad apples. No matter where you are and where you will be there will always be someone that will try to take advantage or let you down in any way and form. I do not know who are you accusing here and it seems that you identified somebody.

These people do not need advise what they need is a dose of their own medicine.

Cornelius,
This is the problem of those who are dealing in treasure hunting in the philippines, they believe much in stories, stories that i called gossip! then they will use or acquire the best detector they may get in the market! Well there is a positive response from the detector as it can smell a consentration of minerals! they dig 150 feet below the ground and all they got are millions of liters of water! then they may find some rocks below that their imagination will made it as "markers" left by the japs,,,Then that whats makes the costs unpresedented! and sure, if nothing has positive result,,they are going to blame the detector!!....

Scammers or syndicates who read stories posted in here, use it to create their own version of stories as if it was their own story and use it to lure prospective investors. They even have better stories to tell because they summarized it from the best experiences of the real treasure hunters.
Unless you talk directly to the people who really experienced and first told stories/adventures the possibility of falling into scam is high. So, it is best to look into the details of their story to detect the inconsistencies.

Worse yet, we are moving into the time when the first person stories can no longer be found. It will not be long before the only story we will here will start like this: "My grandfather told my father . . ."
