We have debated this to death and always end up back at the same place.

1 Yamashita was captured and hanged the idea that a stand in was used is just a conspiracy theory. one of many started by the conman.
2 Yamashita may have been in charge of some treasure but never the amount people want you to believe. The Japaneses may have lost the war but they were far from stupid they would never put all their eggs in one basket.
3 Did Marco find treasure NO  He may have recovered some sunken treasure but the largest part came from stealing from his own people. The lost treasure stories are/were just that stories invented by Marco and the folks like Seagraves that helped him cover up his stealing.
4 Is there treasure in the Philippines Yes but not much if any Japaneses treasure. Hardluck posted some very good info on Spanish treasure there. We also have posted several stories about US men hiding treasure there. Plus there are many stories of wealthy folks hiding family heirlooms and treasure during WWII.
5 I would bet money that any experienced treasure hunter could go to the Philippines and thru research and a little hard work make several recoveries in the first 6 months. There is lots of treasure there just not in Sayasa Ball or FRB.

here's the truth here in philippines to make huge money using yamashita treasure w/c is very common.  first you have to register and seek a legal papers/permits that you are a treasure hunter.prepare your convincing materials eg. stories, pictures, videos, very old man to tell the stories, signs, reader etc. convince the people to join the search of the "asian loot" and to be a member in the cooperative best known in the philippines as "coop" collect them a membership fee as high as you can and with monthly fee and insurances fee. and if the coop reach 30 members register it to sec (security exchange commission). keep every member to convince other people to be a member for instant millionaire quest using the convincing materials. more members more fees will be received by you.start digging keep the members updated telling them it's near to the target and very positive, and it needs extra funds for continue operation.more..more..more..funds coz it's near...we can recover the gold bars..

you cannot say that system is a scam coz they have legal papers to show that it's a legal yamashit treas quest by a coop. some have foreign connections made by members to support the quest. but actually it's money making tactics here in philippines. yamshit folkstale is very convincing here in philippines as i say they use convincing materials pictures of goldbars, videos of alleged goldbar recoveries etc.actually it's a undercover scam.

yes its true - there is a lot buried here in ph - especially in mindanao. most people dont even know about it, or just heard stories without comprehending any of them. many people will always saying that there is no treasure at all, surely they dont want to be disturbed, or perhaps its just the overall denial because there are some powerful people looking for the treasure, privat and gov. agencies.
do not underestimate th in ph. it is a delicate, sensitive and dangerous work !

dont trust people - that easy !
you can learn about the signs somewhere on the net, there are many posts and even many pics of them, BUT in order for you to really to understand, you have to do your work on a site, it would be good with a reader who knows his work.

as always - be very careful !! be honest , not greedy - gd luck.

Just a rational observation here.. but, going back to the original post.... the Yamashita buried treasure is but a fantasy. Those claiming otherwise has an agenda, that is typical of fraudulent solicitation
