Q: Is it possible to discriminate out the material of the fence and have a happy hunt ?
I thought some machines were capable of this ?? I think Fenixdigger is implying that the LRL
was partly responsable for the some of the finds

I'm making a huge leap of faith here in believing this is a real question and not a joke. The answer is no. The fence stays. Except with the co-planar coil. For that one, the edge is not going to detect the fence but above and below, the fence is there in a big way.

No LRL on earth will find a treasure or even point to it.

Never used one. Would a PI unit let me search next to a fence? None of my current units will let me get close to it. Haven't figured out how to shield it and can't cut it out.

assuming that it was next to fence, but you din't hunt the fence, you see it, therefore you know not to get close to the fence. it is obvious that you have a knowledge how to use metal detectors as in your statements above. therefore, those finds were surely found by metal detectors it has a strong evidence based on your statements and knowledge to use md. on the other side the lrl, based on the situation as you are here in dowsing forum you strongly recommend the dowsing equipments as to prove the effectiveness of said equipment you show those finds as lrl finds, but it's truly md's finds obviously. lrl, dowsing 101 percent useless it finds nothing that's why it was always debated. some people want's the lrl, dowsing to be functional it;s obvious that some modified version of such thing to be able to function but it was contrary to the explanation that dowsing will function thru the users energy and ability to dows with years of experience. so, what is the use of modification and other designs of dowsing and lrl's? if lrl's .dowsing will work, no other designs will comes out as it was not the thing but it's the user/dowser ability to dows. so, experts concluded that those lrl's/dowsing din't work and never will work nor functional. it happens only that some people have their lrl's/dowsing equipment in their hands and they know that it's useless they tried to convinced people as it is functional, it's very hard for humans to believed in unvelievables that's why it needs years of training altering the belief of user and doctrine to believed that lrl and dowsing is functional.so, the effects after yrs of trng some users see a ghost, auras and other halocinations some were mentally ill due to pursuing that the thing will work but, unfurtunately until now  it never happened to work.

To be exact. None were found with dowsing. All were found with a sovereign. Some were located within a ft or 2 with a LRL.

Some had other items close to them, others were the only thing there.

Other pics have more items located with LRL, but recovery was with sovereign or Garrett.

I have NEVER recovered any keepable items with the LRL alone. I have made several recoveries with a probe and LRL but they were trash with anodizing on them.

Silver has been the easiest to locate.(next to cans with gold anodizing)

LRL's only get you close to the target. Silver coins and rings I've found were the same way a few feet from the location mark. But I followed a line over 35 yards to that point! Good job.

Tim

What brand and model are we talking about for use by the fence? Thanks

For clarity about using the LRLs here's what I use at different times. The 4 other people that I hunt with also have a lot of standard equip.

Minelab sovereign,, Garrett master hunter,,,Viper,,, Aurora,,,Excalibur,,,Gemini 3,,, TM 808

And the LRLs and rods.

Let's just for an instant PRETEND the lrls  will find gold and silver for everybody.  That means you would miss all the cool artifacts and relics I find if you did not search with a coil unit.

So you just drove out to some field, broke out the LRLs and found a likely spot. Then the detectors found gold.

I suggest that you first researched a possible treasure lead and then went there. You could have dispensed with the LRL scan and gone to the detectors right away and done just as well.

Why not pretend? That's all it really is anyway.

A coil. Any coil. One with a Faraday shield on the top and edges. A coplanar coil. Any brand. It's your skill that makes it immune to the fence, not some trick of electronics.

Thanks for the info. You may be right. I may need a way to guess at where to look. I can't seem to do it without a "crutch".

Too much area to cover.  Where can I find one of these shields.

Faraday shields are built into the coils at the time of manufacture. They are designed into the coil and that is taken into account by the rest of the electronics inside of your detector. You'll have to ask each manufacturer if they have shielding. They don't normally brag about it in ads.

 Hello All

Ram, have you tried to use dowsing? Gd I think you have tried but I wonder how long ago that was and how much time you spent at it ? Have you given it a go recently?
I get the feeling that Tim and fenix are saying that there lrl is working for them, the md is used it the recovery stage.
  Cool
