Check my earlier poastings , "Richard Knight"
he wrote a book , i think ? HE found the treasure ? and left it there or a good portion of it for the rest of us !?! I think it was  in the South china sea "   Philippines. a small Island there ?
i agree though, some pics of a big ol chest of pirats gold ... that would do it nicely

I don't think Capt Kidd ever made it to the S. China Sea. One so called original map was found in a bottle, in a cave but that was proved to be a hoax. I think Idaho Jones got it right. Kidd never did amass much loot in his brief privateering days.

I didnt have time to look through all the posts but it looks a lot like Okinawa or at least one of the Ryukyu islands. China Sea = East China Sea on modern maps?

interesting , ive wanted to go there , interesting islands.  That would also be south of China , Sort of.
Remember if your making the map full of treasure , you probly dont want every one who can se the map to know the precise location! So you add a couple of cryptic clues i guess'> X w k

I believe these are images of the same island.  I think Kid merely scouted the island in the first image, and came ashore at the location on bottom left where a small half circle is attached to the shore line.  He ignored the left third of the island.  However, when he made his kill and needed to unload his loot, he came ashore on the left upper part of the island where a small triangle is attached to the shoreline. No obstructing reefs or rocks are noted. He needed to unload quickly, bury his treasure and leave. He dare not put himself at risk by damaging his ship on reefs or rocks. Three by three feet may be an approximate grid that could be placed over the island to denote distances.  I doubt he would place his treasure in a 3 by 3 feet pit, meaning 9 square feet, unless it was very sandy soil and easily dug.  My feeling is that he carried the treasure further inland and made a much shallow grave....easy in and easy out.  He needed to get the hell out of Dodge.

interseting theory Eyepatch , but why all the hurry ? IF you had some great amount of loot to stash
you would need a few hands , to carry it. then with these hands you could easily dig a 3x3 pit.
Also you would probly want to do a good job with covering it up leaving no tale tale signs of it being there.  As for the triangle and circle .....  im not too sure?
  Huh?

Why do you claim to have the only real charts but refuse to prove it? Two can play at this, Tony. And don't say that you got them from Kidd. He's been dead a long time, mate.
