Wellm I am with Tony on this subject as he has been actually there and provides real eyewitness documentation.

Even without having been there I would like to arouse they question why anybody would not salavage the Flor when claiming to have found it? I have heared similar endings of a story way too often ...

Christian, Tony believes the Flor has not been found. Marx does. Marx' comments relate to that relative belief. Tony says he's lying but if the Flor HAS been found, then Marx may not be lying. Whether Tony has "been there" is irrelevant. A lot of us here have been on wrecks. That doesn't give him any special insight into Robert Marx. Tony has apparently not been to the Flor de Mar so how can he possibly know Marx is not being truthful. In fact, how can anyone? My objection to all this is that Robert Marx is being maligned and libeled and he has never made a statement here on this forum. Why is is name being brought up?

I suggest that Tony only comes here to post about Marx. Look at his posting history, Christian. He doesn't come here to talk about his own exploits. Is it too much to ask that he does so instead of calling someone who never comes here a liar? I'd much prefer to hear about his shipwrecks. I'd much rather hear about his finds and treasure. Surely he can discuss that instead of popping up once in a while and attacking Marx one more time. Or attacking me, for that matter.

I guess I have committed the grave crime of believing a man I have met before named Robert Marx. How horrible is that?

I actually have nothing to do with Marx but people here keep dragging me into this silly conversation.

I contribute to here and also many other treasure hunting forums - I also use my 'bronzecannons' ID on others but why do I even need to explain anything to someone like yourself???

Christian, some people have messaged me and commend me for standing up to this BC 'arm-chair' treasure hunter guy who seems to think he's GOD here and able to just BAN people who simply breath the wrong way. Please keep a 'check' on some of your so-called 'moderators' because if they are unfair and treating people like crap - you will slowly lose them here.

Ive read a few pages of this and i think it's a shame that poetic license can be used to raise funds and it is excepted buy some and
it's ok to con people if i did it i would get 3 yrs then i see one man who was there and then it's ok to surgest it's not how he remembers, then i ask the why is it ok for one man to use poetic license but not the other IF THIS WAS THE CASE
There must be some common ground here that two people can meet and at least consider each others points of view
I see they are both passionate about what each person believes but it does'nt have to be like this, just pages and pages
