I don't hunt natural gold and none close to where I hunt as far as I know  Here's my delusional idea. If it's natural to the earth, micro gold, minerals, nuggets, or on top of the ground, No ghosting of location. If there is running water around it like a river, no ghosting

If it is buried, you have disturbed the natural condition to dig a hole and put something man made in there. As the earth tries to return to it's previous condition, The foreign object reacts and causes a blip in the natural magnetism. The larger and longer it is there, the greater the force is there. The signal seems to be noticeable to the N/W of the real target.
This distance seems to increase with time and size.
Every target I missed that was recovered was found 50 to 75 ft to the N/N/W of where I looked.

I think RO is just stating his beliefs. He is as adamant about what hasn't been proven to him as I am about what I have seen and done. It's all part of it.

Of course some people won't stay here when they take it personal and maybe we miss some good info. But as long as someone keeps trying, a solution to any problem is possible.

I sense you have noticed that some of us on here might just be close. You are right. The last week has held some big changes in the field. The crappy weather has called a halt on field work.

Once this new method has been proved or dispelled beyond any doubt, the rest of the crew and I will decide when to make it public. Here's hoping. LT
