Hi Karl,

Umm not too sure about that, although possible.... Just the scratches seem strange.... I think maybe a wagtail sat on the side of the container and thought the coins was food and moved them.... also scratched in the ground  Angry will have to start all over again  Angry

Wagtail is a bird, but a very inquisitive bird and quite naughty..... I think the scratches are from its beak  Club

Peter just put the coins back and place a wire mesh over the bucket that will keep the critters out but still allow the weather etc to enter !

Well I see that Peter ran into a little trouble with a bird with an attitude  Grin
Sorry to see you have to give it another try,but hey you got all the time you want.
You will think of a way to keep those critters out  Idea
As for my 2 quarters ,they are both just as placed with no movement thus far.... Wink
