Not at all, Jay, but the truth is that I question EVERY transcriptionist when it comes to something that may cost me a fortune only to find an empty hole. I wouldn't trust my best friend nor he me without the tangible proof we need. You really should back off on me. It's not my research skills that need honing. It's yours.

Tell me this. Exactly how much of this so called KGC treasure have you recovered? Have you ever recovered a researched cache of any kind?

I've known a lot of people to accidentally discover caches but only a few who can claim to have found a cache that started from research. The reason for that is quite simple. Research is not a natural skill. You can't do it just from reading other people's research. You have to learn to train your brain to work as an analytical eye; questioning everything that you cannot verify simply from the words other people have typed or set to type. Even if you were to post the very clippings that are transcribed, I would still question the origin of the Knights of the Golden Circle. That NAME is fictional to me unless I find something in archival text that uses it. Not something that alleges its use.

I have "backed off" of you for weeks now.  It was only when you made a ridiculous statement saying you could not find one reference of the Knights of the Golden Circle in ALL of the War of the Rebellion Records that I felt you needed to be called on it.  I provided you with the volume and page numbers for 84 such references and you still can't find them.  So, don't tell me about my research skills.  From here on, your argument is with Cornell University and not with me so I suggest you give them a call and tell them that you believe they are in cahoots with us "conspiracy nuts" and see what they tell you.
As for how many KGC or other treasure caches I have recovered, that is none of your business.  You will never know.

For what it's worth....Cornell University simply hosts the Official Records on their server. They (Cornell) are not responsible for the content or the context in which the materiel is used.

And still no 'signs' (pun intended) of a cache found!

If you are expecting a "sign" of my finds, you will have to get a job with the Internal Revenue Service.  For now RO and GD, it is back to IGNORE for you Cornell Conspiracy Theorists.   Great

It's my sworn personal oath to make sure that rational, clear thinking people don't get swayed by your fantasies.

And by the way, searching at Cornell where a complete repository of texts from the Records of the War of Rebellion turned up this:

It's just not there. I tried it first using the title but then changed it to any document. Nothing.

GoldDigger, you are showing your complete lack of ability as a researcher.  I've explained countless times that you need to do a "simple search" of the Cornell site, not a boolean search, using the exact keywords "Knights of the Golden Circle" and you still can't grasp it.  If you expect me to simplify it even further and send you the photographs of these search returns, which we have many in our Bloody Bill Anderson Mystery group's archives, you are the one living in a fantasy world.  A third-grader could use the instructions I've given and get the same 84 returns that I got.

Jay, I am trying very hard to be patient with you but as yet you have not shown a copy or photostat of a single, original document.
